I am reference and instructional librarian who has been a part of the CCSF community since 1999.   I spend most of my time on Ocean campus at the Alice Statler Library, a hard-to-find specialized library devoted to culinary arts and hospitality.  Once you find this gem of a library, you will always return.  Aside from running "the Alice," and working with the culinary and hotel students and faculty,  I teach LIS 10: Use of Informational Resources, a one unit online class which guides students through the process of research and reinforces information competency.

I love my job and teaching students how to navigate the ever-changing informational landscape! I think I am extremely lucky.  I find it inspiring to watch students transform themselves through education.  CCSF students are awesome. They teach me as much as I teach them!  If you have a stumper, please come find me.  I love a good reference challenge!

In my spare time I love music and festivals, skiing, hiking, camping, good food,  good books and my best friend Lazlo the dog.
